What a wonderful day in the studio this past Thursday! Little Trousers is a new baby clothing business started by one of my brides (well, I still think of her as a bride even though she’s been married a year and a half and is now expecting her first baby!). Tiffany wants to work from home, and she’s always had a love of color and fashion so Little Trousers has been born.

We had a baby model call and were pleased to have five babies in the studio to model some of Tiffany’s creations. We are having a cutest outfit contest on facebook so be sure to visit my facebook or Little Trousers facebook pages to vote! Simply “like” your favorite outfit. Winners will get free outfits and photos!

Here’s a preview of what you will see:

Way fun!

Gretchen B Photography is unveiling a new look–cleaner lines with a bit more sophistication. Please let me know if you like the new look! We are, of course, keeping our purple and green color scheme. We are in process of making the many changes so please bear with us if you see some of the old branding on our marketing materials.

Also, we are gearing up for the next couple of bridal shows! Look for us at the Embassy Suites in Hoover hosted by Perfect Wedding Guide on Sunday, February 20, and at The Harbert Center on February 27. You can click on the links to register! Brides who schedule appointments on the day of the show will receive a show special…come see us! Let me know if you read this on the blog, and you’ll get an extra bonus!

In August we were honored to work with many different wedding vendors for Alabama Weddings magazine including Bromberg’s, Hot House Design, Kathy G & Co, Ivory & White, Aztec Events & Tents, M. Elizabeth Events, Mr. Burch Formalwear, Jessica Biddy (make-up), Angels Cakes & Confections, BBJ Linens, Sonia Davis Designs, The Sonnet House, and Main Street Productions.

The models, Audrey Moore and Will Smith, had never worked together before, but you couldn’t tell that from the way they were able to look like a “couple.” What a pleasure to photograph the results of all the efforts of these professionals. Enjoy the slideshow produced, of course, by Main Street Productions! Look for us in the upcoming issue (to be released in January 2011) in the Signature Style Series!

Annette and Travis are so much fun–I know we are going to have a great time with them this weekend. They are having a party today for a large number of friends. Their wedding tomorrow is in a small chapel so their wedding will be very intimate. We are going back to their house at Lake Guntersville after the wedding. We are planning to make images of them around the lake’s edge and on the dock. Watch for images soon!

We’ve created a new fan page for Gretchen B Photography on Facebook!  Click the link below and help us get to 100 fans by the end of today!

I’m starting a new blog with my latest website–please let me know how you like it! I’m excited to be making some positive changes in the way I communicate with you. I’ve separated my weddings and portraits to give more room for each type of photography. For now, I’m going to post to just one blog, though–there just isn’t enough time to do it all right now! The wedding website is Gretchen B Photography and portraits can be viewed at gretchensimages.
