Here are some photos of Rachel we made yesterday. We were practicing with off camera flash in the bright sun. It was soooo windy! Rachel was a good sport, and I’m happy with these.

month: March 2009
Here are a few more photos of Justin, my high school senior son.

Here are some photos from Justin’s session this afternoon. There will be more later!

Baby Cohen is the nephew of one of our recent brides…such a cutie! Here’s a slideshow of his 3-month photo session.
Here is my friend and fellow photographer Barry Altmark. My husband, Barry, and I went downtown recently to make the perfect image for his website. We all agreed this one says it all about Barry!

Colby and my son played basketball together several years ago, and now they are both graduating from high school Colby will be going to Wake Forest in my home state of North Carolina where he will be studying history and pre-med. Congratulations, Colby! You are a very fine young man, and I’m thrilled you came to me for your senior photos!
Curtis and Autumn were married in Blountsville on January 4. You may remember Autumn because she won the honeymoon trip at the Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show in August last year. I’ll let Autumn give you the details, but I understand that she and Curtis had a delightful time. Here are a few images from their engagement session which we did in Helena, Autumn’s bridal session,

their wedding in Blountsville and their reception in Cullman. Congratulations to you both!
Jackson wasn’t born, yet, when I met his parents. They came in for maternity photos and then I was able to photograph him when he was just two weeks old. He’s been in to the studio for all the milestones–holding up his head, sitting up alone, standing, and walking! It’s been a blast watching him grow. Here are a few of the images from our last session…what a doll!

I’m starting a new blog with my latest website–please let me know how you like it! I’m excited to be making some positive changes in the way I communicate with you. I’ve separated my weddings and portraits to give more room for each type of photography. For now, I’m going to post to just one blog, though–there just isn’t enough time to do it all right now! The wedding website is Gretchen B Photography and portraits can be viewed at gretchensimages.
